Photos From Tommy's 4th Week
Daddy elicited some priceless expressions from Tommy this week, including some smiles, one or two of which we captured on video. The following are some of our favorite pictures from Week 4.
Tommy frequently goes into a food coma on Daddy's chest after a bottle.

He also regularly adopts the contemplative pose of "The Thinker," as many of the following photos attest.
More sleeping on Daddy.
We picked up this onesie for the little guy when we were last in NYC. He's probably not aware of his love for New York yet, but we'll instill it in him eventually.
Thinking again, this time while awake. Apparently there is a lot to be concerned about when one is awake.

He is actually lying on a couch here, not velcroed to a wall, as he appears to be.
And another angle on his food coma.
I *love* the monkey footies on this sleeper.

We finally got out his Cardinals gear (thank you, Kitty & Carrie!), even though it isn't supposed to fit him until he's six months old (ha!). It's an Ankiel jersey, and Ankiel happened to play very well during the game they were viewing, so Daddy thinks that Tommy should wear the shirt every game day. Mommy is not so sure -- there are a lot of game days! But it does look fetching with his blue jeans.

Sometimes he sleeps on Mommy too (heaven!).

Tommy started the day with his best "cuddly teddy bear" impression.

Our friend Emily came to visit! Tommy seemed to like her very much.

For our first family excursion outside our neighborhood, we went to Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Tim's for a barbecue with cousins Allyson, Alexa, Sam, and Jacob, who are visiting from Austin, TX. Tommy had fun meeting his first cousins, and we managed to stay for a few hours and enjoy a delicious dinner without any major crises - hooray! Thank you, Tim and Lorraine!

Another lengthy photo shoot for the benefit of the grandparents, aunts and uncles who haven't met Tommy (or at least haven't seen him in a week or so) and are curious about how he looks, now that he's finally putting on weight.
Apologies from your parents, Thomas, for posting so many photos of you pantless!
