Tommy's Birthday -- Monday, June 29, 2009

Thomas William Pitlyk was born on Monday, June 29, 2009, at INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, VA. He weighed in at a whopping 10 pounds, 2 ounces, and measured 21 inches (which we later found out was an underestimate -- he's really a bit longer than 22 inches). Because of Tommy's size and Mommy's gestational diabetes, we had to schedule a C-section, which made it possible for all of Tommy's grandparents and his Uncle Matt (Pitlyk) to make it out to DC for his birth.
